Glass Lion Cinema Award 2024

The evening began with a spectacular welcome on the red carpet, where illustrious guests and celebrities from the world of cinema paraded under the spotlights, welcomed by the beautiful girls of “MT Eventi Venezia”. The guests then enjoyed a gala dinner in the magnificent Theatre Hall, followed by the Grand Show Magic, a variety show that enchanted everyone present. The highlight of the evening was the awards ceremony, during which the prestigious Leone di Vetro, made by the master glassmakers of Murano, were awarded. Among the winners, actors, directors and producers who have contributed to spreading the excellence of Italian cinematography at an international level.

The event, which celebrates the cinematographic excellence that enhances the cultural and tourist heritage of the Veneto, was presented by the well-known television host Patrizio Roversi, with the splendid Laura Coden and saw the participation of numerous personalities from the Italian and international cinema, creating an atmosphere of glamour and celebration worthy of the golden years of world cinema.

Amici Per Caso – Best Comedy – Max Nardari. TV Series Schnee – Snow – Best TV Series – Gabriela Bacher.

Award to the actress Marina Suma, for her participation in the film Amici Per Caso. Lifetime Achievement Award “Glass Lion”, to Sebastiano Somma, for his 40 years of film and television career. The Glass Lion Cinema Award is not only an artistic recognition, but also a way to promote the Veneto region. Every year, the awarded films and productions are those that have best been able to enhance the beauty and peculiarities of the region, helping to make Veneto known internationally. Official partner “MT Eventi Venezia” with the godmother of the evening, the beautiful Emiliana Camerzan, newly elected “Miss Aurora 2024” and the equally splendid Aurora Cipolato, “Miss Little Princess 2024” to bring the main Glass Lions on stage.
